Layered Mince Pie recipe Dough Ingredients

  1. Refined flour (sieved) (Half) kg
  2. Yeast (two) tbsp
  3. Sugar (one) tsp + (Two) tbsp
  4. Salt (half) tsp
  5. Warm water for kneading

Filling Ingredients

  1. Mince beef (seven hundred fifty) grams
  2. Onion (cut finely) (one) cup
  3. Garlic/Ginger Paste (one) tbsp
  4. Red chilli Powder (one) tbsp
  5. Coriander powder (one and half) tsp
  6. Hot Spices Powder (one) tsp
  7. Lemon Juice (two) tbsp
  8. Green Chillies (cut finely) (three)
  9. Fresh Coriander (cut finely) (two) tbsp
  10. Salt (one) tsp
  11. Oil (half) cup

Batter Ingredients

  1. Eggs (beaten) (Four)
  2. Salt (half) tsp
  3. Clarified butter (not melted) (four) tbsp

Layered Mince Pie Recipe Method

  • Add all dough ingredients in refined flour and knead into soft dough.
  • Heat oil in frying pan and fry Onions golden add Garlic/Ginger, Red Chillies, Coriander, Mince, and Salt and cook until mince is tender.
  • Add remaining Ingredients of filling cook for few minutes and remove from flame.
  • Decide dough into three equal parts and roll out into the Pie Crusts.
  • Mix all batter ingredients in a bowl.Spread (three) tbsp batter at the bottom of a (nine") Cake mould place (one) pie crust over it.
  • Layer with half mince (three) tbsp batter, second crust, remaining mince and third crust and press down sides of crust spread remaining batter on top.
  • Make cuts in cross shape in the centre of the pie with the help of a knife bake in a Pre-Heated oven at (200 degree C) for (Forty) minutes Remove.
  • When cooled turn over and remove in plate and Cut slices and Serve.
